Registration Links Tutorial

In this video, we’ll show you how to create registration links that allow users to sign up & create accounts on 2BeLive.

This is a great way to enable self-registration for onboarding new users, or to drive and track registrations from social media campaigns, marketing landing pages, or affiliate websites.

Dashboard> clicking on the gear icon in the bottom-left corner to access the BackOffice.

Click Users > select Register Link.

Here, you’ll see a list of all previously created registration links. Since we don’t have any yet, let’s create one by clicking Create Register Link in the top-right corner.

TIP
Begin by giving your registration link a clear name. This helps you identify the source of your sign-ups. For example “Facebook June–July Promo” for tracking social ads or “My Website Front Page” for general public sign-ups.

Next, choose the user type to assign > Participant
(not Host as that will give the user special privileges and permissions on your 2BeLive account.)

Select the group(s) to assign new registrants to as  this helps with user organization and makes it easy to automatically assign content based on group access.

You can limit how many people can use the link, you can set a registration limit. Since we’re creating a general-purpose sign-up link, we’ll leave this unlimited.

You can also enable a link expiration date if you want it to stop working after a certain time.
This is useful for time-limited promotions or exclusive access offers. We’ll leave this off for now.

If you have upcoming live sessions, you can automatically invite anyone who registers via this register link to attend. Just choose the date and select the sessions. This is perfect for promoting webinars or information live sessions to new sign-ups.

Click Save.

You’ll get a copyable registration link. You can always return to the Register Link menu item, click the three-dot menu option next to any link, and choose Copy to get the link or View Details to see the token ID and list of people who have registered using that Register link.

To add a Registration this link to your 2BeLive login or landing homepage, go to the Customization tab in the BackOffice, then click Login Page. Click the default Join Me button where you will be able to make it viewable and add a previously created Register Link to it. Click Edit, customize the text, and select a registration link by its token ID. To confirm the correct ID, return to the Register Link page and view the details of the link you created.

Once set, new visitors would be able to sign up directly into your 2BeLive account with a single click.
